A great romantic setting for couples or plenty of room for the whole family or a group of friends (sleeps up to 8).Watch the mist rise, feed the ducks, and have your coffee on the dock in the morning and in the evening roast marshmallows and watch the stars sparkle almost within your reach.
The cottage overlooks Kawagama Lake and has a full washroom with shower, full kitchen, & a wood stove for heat and ambience. Cottage is equipped with WiFi, Netflix and lots of board games.
The Town of Dorset is 15 kilometres (9 miles) away with grocery store, pharmacy, LCBO and more. There are two Marinas on the lake where you can enjoy local Ice Cream, or French Fries from the chip wagon.
Kawagama lake is the largest lake in Haliburton county, it does not have any towns or settlements on it. From the northwestern bay (Fletcher Bay) to its southeastern tip (the Hollow River) it is over 16 kilometres (10 mi) in length. In its central area, it is 2.5 kilometres (2 mi). It has two marinas ( Mountain Trout House and Old Mill Marina) and two access points.
Available between the May Long Weekend until Halloween. Weekends and weekly rates may change during the peak season, and your stay is not guaranteed until payment is received.
